Community Partnership Coordinator

Child Health Investment Partnership (CHIP) of Roanoke Valley is seeking part-time Community Partnership Coordinator. Job duties include:

  • Coordinate community resources and partnerships to support CHIP families including dental days, literacy events, family picnic, food distribution, after school homework and child care agreements, and other community supports as appropriate
  • Develop relationships with partners to enhance and measure efficacy of partner support systems on CHIP enrolled families
  • Provide assistance to Dir. of Program Services: build agendas and record minutes to nurse and case manager meetings, preview and highlight supervision reports and provide other administrative support as needed.

Must be able to work independently. Bachelor degree with 2+ years of supervision/management experience preferred. Experience in community outreach, public relations and outstanding communications skills required. CHIP Community Health Nurse

Flexible, family-friendly hours (with no holiday, weekend or on-call work required). Child Health Investment Partnership (CHIP) of Roanoke Valley is seeking a full-time RN to join our team providing health care coordination, asthma case management, parenting education and prenatal case management to medically underserved children and families via home visits. Marketing Intern

CHIP of Roanoke is seeking a marketing intern to assist with social media campaigns.  This position will help maintain CHIP’s presence on various social media platforms and help create and publish content that is relevant to the organization. This position is an unpaid, 5 month internship that can be utilized for school credits if available from your school.
Responsibilities include:

        • Work with the on-site Social Media Manager to create and implement campaigns
        • Assist on updating Facebook and Twitter accounts
        • Work with Marketing team to create ideas to promote upcoming 30th Anniversary
        • Develop content calendars on a weekly and monthly basis
        • Create engaging blog and social media content
        • Assist in the general distribution of press releases and media alerts
